Enjoy Your Time With Friends In The Healing Heart Garden

Drawn at the Breast Show, Windemere Manor, April 6, 2013

Just invite a friend over for a cup of tea and the two of you can talk openly in the garden.  The flowers and plants will listen and nod their heads.  Pick some vegetables like carrots and as they are good for your eyes, perhaps you will see things more clearly through your third eye.

It’s All About The Easter Eggs

Easter Bunny has spent a lot of time cooking Easter Eggs so they are ready to deliver to children and adults but her work is not done as it is Easter Friday.  She made them nice and bright and colourful so that they could be found easily.  She loves to sit in her Easter Basket popping up and surprising people.  She sends out lots of love to you with hearts spreading themselves in the cosmos.  Blue Birdie keeps her company and takes the eggs and hides them so they are a good team.  Easter Sunday is almost here so goodbye for now as she must keep cooking.  Relax and have a cup of tea in the midst of the hustle and bustle of making Easter Dinner.  Don’t forget to wear bright Easter colours and give someone who needs a hug and some flowers some of your time, energy and love.  Wrap your arms around them and tell them you love them today and every day.

Coffee Please, No Tea For Me

Coffee Queen is about to enjoy a cup of coffee while Flowercat looks on.  Flowercat will just scurry off and get a cup of tea and join Coffee Queen for toast and jam, berries, orange and cheese as there is enough for two friends to share.  They are at home enjoying precious time together but the Castle is a wonderful place to socialize.  They plan on inviting their friends over for a Coffee & Tea Social so the Queen has been trying out different flavours of coffee.  The name of her coffee is Chocó-Chug because you just enjoy the flavour so much you just want to chug it down!  This means they will have to purchase a lot of coffee for their party if they go with this flavour.  Flowercat has decided just to serve her own blend of Flowercat Tea.  It is an elixir she creates from rain, dew drops and flowers.  It is soothing, flavourful and has special powers of inspiration, creativity and angelic visitations.

The Flowercat Zoo (c)

THE FLOWERCAT ZOO

By Gail McNaughton March 18, 2013

Zippidy, zippidy frizz and do,

Come see your friends at the Flowercat zoo.

Crickedy, crickedy crank and shank,

Remember the lake here is a big fish tank.

Flickity flakety do dum diddle,

Flora the goat squats on her hay stack to widdle.

Eli the Eagle is a road runner with wings,

He’s a colourful fanciful warrior who sings.

Vultures and prey don’t stand a chance,

For he’s out there doing his song and dance.

Blinkedy, blinkedy sang fat tea,

Ollie the Owl, Chili Chikka and me.

Laneo, laneo ba ba pooh,

Sing a song from volcanic Lava Loo.

Zema, zema zel fan choo,

Chocó-Cat says he sure loves you.

Bella, bella mago statsy,

Sing for your lunch and don’t be hasty.

Billy Buckle nozzsy barzie,

Heart Cat looks at the moon and starzy’s.

Poppy moppy pilly willy,

All these doodle characters sure are silly.

Blankedy, blankedy mush man merry,

Angelica the Angel looks for the Peri Winkle Fairy.

Penny wenny gives you a glare,

Mommy Millie Bear has fur coat hair.

Wogsy pogsy a bone that’s sour,

Trade for a hot dog and give it to Dog Flower.

Ithy pithy wamsy noodle,

Sammy The Snake is a reptile doodle.

Pee pee purr ball falsy chirp,

Moppy Floppy upchucks a burp.

Panda wanda tuna dovey,

Move over Calvin Fox, no hind legs shovey.

It’s night time and the zoo has now closed

And some of the animals have already dozed.

Tomorrow you can meet more friends at the zoo,

Some you’ve met and some are brand new.

Sally Spider has asked for some tea,

And if you oblige she’ll sneak you in free.

Bring us more peanuts and feed us your snacks,

But most of all we want you to hurry on back.

Anne Kenny To Receive Ontario Volunteer Award

Anne Kenny, along with two of her colleagues, from the Elgin -St. Thomas Community Foundation are receiving Volunteer Service Awards 2013.  The event is March 21, 2013, 7:30 P.M. at the East Elgin Community Complex.  This is a Province of Ontario Award.  Hats off to Anne on her success and her 10 + years of service contributing to the development of the Foundation.

Thanks from Dog & Pony

Bob and Gail McNaughton participated in the Business Sample Show at St. Anne’s Centre on October 19,2011 Sponsored by the St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce.  They had expected a larger crowd of people but given a dreary night with wind and rain, the attendance was good and who is supposed to be there will always show up.  Regardless of who attended, including the Chamber members and the public, people mingled and visited the vendor booths.  At the Dog & Pony booth, the gift that was given out was one of three greeting cards prepared by Gail  from her doodle art collection.  Each card had a caption on the bottom – “Halloween”, “The Dream Lady Of Joy & Love” or “Pink Is The Colour Of Hope”.  There were those who loved certain cards so this is the one that they selected.  Thanks to all those who attended our booth.  Enjoy your greeting card and remember Dog & Pony Productions Inc., The Photographic Heart and our new division, Social Media COO.  Send your greeting card to someone who you want to contact and send it with love and endearment.  We all need a hug!
