I Carry The Sacred Heart Of The Universe In My Humble Hands

I Carry The Sacred Heart Of The Universe In My Humble Hands

By Gail McNaughton, August 24, 2011

I carry the sacred heart of the universe in my humble hands.

I protect it with clarity of vision,

And a deep understanding of the human race.

I witness its miracle in every day lives,

And ask it to do more with less effort.

The density of the earth is like a solid cloud,

As people push away from sacred lives and turn to violence.

The radiance of the sacred heart will need to be laser focused,

To turn heavy hearts into light spirits,

Who are open to receiving love.

Where there is love there is no fear,

And when there is no fear there is peace.

The connection with spirit has been forgotten.

People have become more physical with cold hearts,

That can look into the eyes of someone and destroy,

The sacred part of who they are.

Cruelty, vengeance, deceit, jealousy, rage, hopelessness,

Power, greed, callousness, fuel more anger,

And ignite the world on fire and many perish.

What’s a world without people?

How do we grow to our spiritual potential,

When we see a negative reflection in the world’s mirror?

I’ll find the troubled spots of the world,

And ask others to join my humanitarian angel band of healers.

We will turn the melting pots into turquoise pools of tranquility,

And a breathing network of love.

Many hunger for a new balance and a new order.

We can help to make dramatic changes.

We are here to serve and hear your voices in unison.

We are sacred light workers,

Who will carry the sacred heart of the universe in our humble hands,

And help you create love in the world.

Moon Bear

I met Coleen Burns who belongs to the volunteer chapter, SW Ontario for Animals Asia. Of all places we met at our hairdressers. We then met again. I was very disturbed by our first meeting as she told me about the horrific situation with Moon Bears in China. I don’t want to disturb you. You could go to the website which is www.animalsasia.org. In essence the bears are not respected as dignified animals and nor are dogs and cats. Like many I don’t want to put my head in the sand and it is good to be educated. When you own pets like I do and dote over them and care for them with your heart and soul it is very hurtful knowing that others don’t feel the same way. Our cultures differ which also needs to be understood. It is people like Colleen and many others who care who have stepped forward to help sponsor bears and raise money for their sanctuary. I’ll leave it in your trusted hands what you want to do. Here is a doodle art I did of Moon Bear.

GOD’S WINDOW

By Gail McNaughton

I was fearful to die,

But I cast my eye,

Out the window,

And instead of a gigantic obstacle,

That would shatter my world forever,

Like it has for the friends and family,

I leave behind,

God’s window appeared before me.

I felt the impact,

And was jarred and then,

Thwarted,

In, what seemed like,

Many directions.

The plane dismantled,

But my soul just parachuted,

And God salvaged me,

Penetrating me with,

Grace, radiance and love.

The heart beat of the universe,

The shear comfort of being home,

And this essence of completeness,

Wove itself,

Through the miniscule fibers,

Of my being.

For a few moments,

I remembered excruciating pain,

My life passing before me,

And profound sorrow.

Instantly it vanished;

It turned to love and joy.

My die cast was at fruition —

I suffered for humanity,

To, rethink and expand,

Within new dimensions,

As the earth is shifting from,

Violence to peace.

I have been one of the forerunners,

And what better way to find,

Humility in the midst of,

Such a surreal direct encounter,

With war.

The Angels are with us,

And have prevailed over our orientation,

That we are deeply involved in –

This incident is yet a passing,

A unique catastrophic awareness,

That in order for humans to,

Celebrate their joy,

That is,

Readably,

Available to them,

They must find peace.

This knowledge could,

Stabilize the life force,

And encourage,

The celebration of life,

And exemplify,

The freedoms of the universe,

That are meaningful to,

Every human being.

The persecutors and the persecuted,

Are united in learning but,

From different angles.

This extreme and profound,

World incident will be,

Difficult to swallow and leave,

Fuel for hostility and sorrow,

Retaliation and bitterness.

If we ignite the fire,

We will bring on what we believe.

Find the balance in your thinking.

Take time for solitude to reflect,

And let the compassion in your heart,

Balloon you higher than the Twin Towers.

Soar above all the worldly nuances,

To a new and better world –

One which we value,

Enough to make dramatic changes,

In our thinking and perspectives –

One which our fellow man,

Died for on this day.

About Zentangle

Zentangle, Inc. © www.zentangle.com

We have different names for Doodle Art and there is a new wave calling it Zentangle©. On their website they talk about creating repetitive patterns. We all know that doodling is fun and relaxing and I personally spend hours at it which is seen on my Doodle Art page of my website. This isn’t even one quarter of all the Doodle Art that I’ve done as I have hundreds of similar drawings but these ones are the only ones that have got coloured in. Over 5 years of doodling has increased my collection with hundreds of original artwork. Zentangle can be done with pencil, pen or using colour and instruction and tools. Doodle Art is an intuitive art form and when I personally doodle I sit down and know that one hour or more will go by very quickly. I start with nothing on my paper and end up with artwork and I do this anywhere and at any time. It helps me relax, motivates me to do more, stimulates my thinking and solve problems in a unique and creative way. It fills me up with love, peace and harmony. You can read for yourself about Zentangle© on the Zentangle© website but some of the key words that describe it on this website are: Abstract, Unexpected Results, Ceremonial, Fun & Relaxing, Timeless, Portable, Quality, Non-Technical. I am about to attend two Zentangle programs given by the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada and will write about my experience and show you the results. Similar courses are being given by other art Instructors in places like Florida. As with every wave, terminology will come and go but doodling will be in our lives forever and it is behaviour we do that we never though of as an art form before so hats off to those who are making it known as an art form. Enjoy this doodling and try it out for yourself.
********************
I took a Zentangle © course at the Art Centre in St. Thomas on April 16, 2011 and here are the results. This is a disciplined way of doing doodles with many tangles to learn. In the world of Zentangles you don’t call them doodles though. Anybody can be an artist by learning how to put the tangles together, one instruction at a time. Some are easier than others and some are very complicated with written instructions. Zentangle artists have self created the different tangles and the creators of Zentangle © originated the first batch and are still creating. This becomes a mindless activity, very addictive and relaxing. Before you know it several hours have gone by. You use a fine pen (but there are several thicknesses that can be used) and pencil with special 3.5 X 3.5 coasters to create on. The fun part is naming your creations. These can be laminated, framed, coloured-in and each one is an original work of art.
