If You Doubt Yourself

If you doubt yourself stop right in that moment. Say, stop, stop, stop to yourself. The repetition will help. Remember that our mind has what it wants to say. Your heart has what it wants to say and so does your body. Your heart is where you should head to. Sit still. Place your hands in your lap. Close your eyes. Breathe. Just concentrate on your heart and stay there for a few moments. Remember linear time is different than spiritual time so “take the time”. If you don’t, nobody else will. Just go with the flow and I’m sure you will feel better.

The EBWN Admin Team 2012 – 2013 Receive “Lighten Up” The Wild Apricots Doodle Art

Our annual Success Meeting took place at the Duton Meadows Golf Club on April 17, 2013 and fun was had by all.

The Lighten Up Team

and will they come before you and stand with me up at the front –

Susan, Kim, Sarah, Linda, and Yvonne will you come forward.  As well would Mary and Lori come up as well.  Anne, Andrea and Ann-Marie are unable to be with us this evening  These are the women who have represented you over 2012 and 2013 some leaving and some coming.

What does it mean to lighten up?  It means to have fun while you are doing your volunteer role and interacting with one another and the rest of the membership.  Being women we can get so serious and take everything on our shoulders.  As volunteers we also have many other responsibilities.  To Lighten Up means it brings a sense of balance to our lives and helps us remain light, but at the same time carry out our individual responsibilities with professionalism and as a team to ensure the stability to keep our EBWN working to the best of our abilities.  The Wild Apricots software system came into our lives and it too speaks of a lighter side of life for it is such a fun name.  As members of the EBWN we are all Wild Apricots and this name has been fun to refer to the Admin. Committee as.  These are wild team mates with individuality, spunk, creativity, expertise, knowledge and a pledge of allegiance to service.  To celebrate the Admin. Team I’ve made a doodle art for them.

LAUGH AT YOURSELF

Drawn at The Breast Show, Windemere Manor, April 6, 2013

Hold your head up high and reach for the sky in stature.  Put on a funny face even if you don’t feel like it.  Hold your heart in your hands and visualize the word HOPE.  There are lots of people around you with sunny dispositions who you can hold in your heart and their lightness and clarity will give you peace and understanding.  Attach yourself to healthy people.  Have some fun and possibly go skate boarding, walk in the park and look for feathers, talk to the birds as they will sing back their love in their melody.  Look at colour wheels and perhaps sit in a church that has a stained glass window and feel the colours radiate on your body.  Pray for yourself for when you pray for yourself you also pray for others.

Flowercat’s Nurturing Garden

Drawn at the Breast show, Windemere Manor, April 6, 2013

Flowercat is a very special magical cat who is an old soul with lots of healing energy and she hangs around the garden to help those who need love, support and nurturing.  She has big paws to wrap around you,  She will hug you close to her heart.  She will help you grow like the bulbs that magically set themselves in motion to mature into blossoming flowers and take their rightful place in the world.  She just tells you to sit and bring a cup of tea to the table she has set out for you.  She is waiting patiently for you to ask for help.  When you take a seat, she will know that you are ready.

Enjoy Your Time With Friends In The Healing Heart Garden

Drawn at the Breast Show, Windemere Manor, April 6, 2013

Just invite a friend over for a cup of tea and the two of you can talk openly in the garden.  The flowers and plants will listen and nod their heads.  Pick some vegetables like carrots and as they are good for your eyes, perhaps you will see things more clearly through your third eye.

There Are Many Healing Hands That Will Help You

This doodle art was drawn at The Breast Show on April 6, 2013 at Windemere Manor.

There are always those who will come forward in your time of need but many don’t know you need help.  Be grateful that there are those who will show intuitively from many corners of your life.  Just go with the flow.  Remember a peaceful fountain that is likened to the source of energy that will assist in your healing.

It’s All About The Easter Eggs

Easter Bunny has spent a lot of time cooking Easter Eggs so they are ready to deliver to children and adults but her work is not done as it is Easter Friday.  She made them nice and bright and colourful so that they could be found easily.  She loves to sit in her Easter Basket popping up and surprising people.  She sends out lots of love to you with hearts spreading themselves in the cosmos.  Blue Birdie keeps her company and takes the eggs and hides them so they are a good team.  Easter Sunday is almost here so goodbye for now as she must keep cooking.  Relax and have a cup of tea in the midst of the hustle and bustle of making Easter Dinner.  Don’t forget to wear bright Easter colours and give someone who needs a hug and some flowers some of your time, energy and love.  Wrap your arms around them and tell them you love them today and every day.

The Healing Heart Garden

Our life is a journey of healing.  We are part of a very large learning experience.  One thing for certain, God’s garden has always been here for us.  It looks after itself if you look at a forest whether in a northern or southern climate.  We can create our own gardens both physically and mentally.  The Healing Heart Garden is a special garden that you create yourself.  You draw and colour it for your own use.  It will make you smile as you see the summer of your life when you are actually feeling that you are in the winter of your life.  You can use it to springboard visualizations from.  I look at my garden and then I do work in my garden so I step inside the images and sit and read a book, cultivate the soil, pick flowers, ponder about life, let the sun beat on my face making me feel good, growing ideas and finding inner peace.  Sometimes the garden will have weeds in it but perhaps that is where you are in your thinking but weeds can be beautiful too – dandelions are green and yellow and look beautiful on a lawn.  I have thistles in my garden and love watching them grow.  Hearts are so healing and you might want to plant a few heart flowers in your garden and add things like birds, butterflies, dragonflies, park benches, arbors or whatever.  Enjoy making your own garden.  Sally Spider says Hi!

We Are Avid Tea Drinkers, No Coffee For Us

Tea drinking is a social thing to do, it sit and have a cup of tea with a friend or two.  Recently I and other friends around me have been having tea parties.  Now there are all kinds of different teas but my favorites are Black Current and Blueberry as well as Honey Lemon.  Tea drinking began at an early age for me when I would sit at the dinner table and pout tea in my milk glass and stir it with a spoon so that the glass wouldn’t crack.  I drink my tea black now and I love Tim Horton’s Steeped Tea.  My family have always sat and had tea together and many things were discussed during that period of time.  The time it takes to drink a cup or two of tea is a nice social clock as you never want to overstay your welcome.  Yes, I know, I am sounding like “Ms. Manners”!  You will often see tea cups in my artwork for it is a reminder to me and others to refresh, revitalize and socialize.  Take some time for yourself and relax.

Coffee Please, No Tea For Me

Coffee Queen is about to enjoy a cup of coffee while Flowercat looks on.  Flowercat will just scurry off and get a cup of tea and join Coffee Queen for toast and jam, berries, orange and cheese as there is enough for two friends to share.  They are at home enjoying precious time together but the Castle is a wonderful place to socialize.  They plan on inviting their friends over for a Coffee & Tea Social so the Queen has been trying out different flavours of coffee.  The name of her coffee is Chocó-Chug because you just enjoy the flavour so much you just want to chug it down!  This means they will have to purchase a lot of coffee for their party if they go with this flavour.  Flowercat has decided just to serve her own blend of Flowercat Tea.  It is an elixir she creates from rain, dew drops and flowers.  It is soothing, flavourful and has special powers of inspiration, creativity and angelic visitations.

We women are very talented and have many faces but we skip to a beat of our own making so that we can do it all to the degree that we want to.  Ever noticed that some days you have an overload of faces and other days you solidify just one.  We are grounded in the earth, the sky, the sunshine and love that surrounds us.  When we are in our own feeling of grace we grow flowers that are picked by other people to give them a piece of our energy and exuberance to help them in their own journey.  Many of us give spiritual skipping ropes to others so they too can enjoy the freedom and self expression of being themselves.
